DTV Transition for Cable companies (read on for details)?

Your first umption was wrong. DTV transitions will be replacing og transmissions. After March of 2009 or whenever it is, there will no longer be any og transmissions sent out over the air. Now instead of an og tuner, you will need a QAM tuner to catch this digital transmissions, or you could join the rest of the country and just get digital cable.
