Who's the most dominating female artist in album sales?

Most people would say Beyonce is number 1 and no one can touch her, but numbers don't lie and Britney is probably the top selling female artist this decade. I find it interesting that Britney had a terrible public break down, but yet Beyonce who has this perfect image and is shoved down our throats constantly is not pulling Britney's numbers yet. I personally like Ciara and bought her album, but I hope she has better numbers with her new album Basic Instinct. JLo and Mariah are fading like you said and their time has ped. Christina's attitude and Lady Gaga comparisons are hurting her numbers. As for Rihanna I feel like her numbers would not have been so high if she did not put her album on sale for $1 and ride on the public's pity. Whitney was that voice but now she has been gaining a lot of weight and receiving terrible reviews for her concert, however she did have a good comeback.
