Distinguish between the covalent bond and the coordinate covalent bond.?

All bonds are covalent bonds. All bonds regardless of their degree of ionic character ultimately involve the sharing of electrons, even if that sharing is unequal. Covalent bonds usually involve a pair of electrons, one from each atom. A coordinate covalent bond is one where both of the bonding electrons come from a single atom.
