Would ozone produced from a car air ionizer damage my car interior?

I would like to buy a road pro air ionizer for my car i am concerned that the ozone produced from this machine would cause damage to my car interior damages such as cracking of plastics, discolorations and tearing of fabrics. ozone is known to cause carcking in car tyres in this case the ozone will be confined to a closed area and could damabe the manifacture says the ozone produced is approximatly 4ppm per hour.
